We initially were going to develop only medically based information for prescribers, but this quickly expanded to be relevant to all team based care and cover system development as well. We have been working with the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers (CCHP) to round out the structure of the content and to be as inclusive as possible. All the while Spectrum Health was supporting Dr. Waller, not only in his time to develop content but in support for his clinic, The Center for Integrative Medicine. We are now moving into the next phases of project development, with the website and Dr. Waller moving to New Jersey to work with CCHP and continue to expand the curriculum. This will be initially funded graciously by Atlantic Philanthropies and the RWJF. There are many prospects for further partners to help grow the knowledge and reach of this important information. We hope to see this page grow as we interact with new and exciting partners.
About Camden Coalition
The Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers (Camden Coalition) is a citywide coalition of over 25 hospitals, primary care providers and community organizations working together to deliver better health care to vulnerable citizens in Camden, NJ. Founded by Dr. Jeffrey Brenner in 2002, the Coalition knits together a fragmented health care system for patients with complex needs and repeated, ineffective and expensive hospitalizations, using smart data and holistic, multi-disciplinary team care. We believe if we can deliver better care at lower cost here in Camden, it can be done for everyone, everywhere in America.
For more than 40 years the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has worked to improve health and health care. We are striving to build a national Culture of Health that will enable all to live longer, healthier lives now and for generations to come. For more information, visit our website.
